My favorite movie: Interstellar

Without a doubt, one of my favorite movies of all the times is Interstellar directed by Christopher Nolan (one of my favorite directors). Interstellar is a sciencie fiction movie and was released in 2014. In this movie actors that I admire act, like Matthew McConaughey,  Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Cassey Afleck, among others. 

Interstellar is about a man called Cooper that is recruited to accomplish a long mission in the space, specifically in a hole of worm with the objective to find a new place to the humanity because planet Earth was very devastated. Cooper has to leave for many years his little daughter Murph and his son Tom. 

I think that this movie is a work of art in every sense, because it goes beyond being a simple sciencie fiction movie and shows many feelings that humans experiment throughout their lives, like love, rage, loneliness and hope. Besides, the soundtrack of Interstellar is the most magnificent soundtrack that I have ever heard, compose by Hans Zimmer. 

Honestly, I had to see Interstellar many times to understand it, but when finally I did it, was wonderful...

My favorite concert (until now)

Hi everyone!

I haven't been to many concerts in my life, but now I'm going to talk about the "Julian Casablancas + The Voidz" concert. This show was in October 2017 at "Club Amanda" located in Vitacura. I went to the concert with my friend from the university, Valentina. She participated in a contest of  an internet site and Valentina won two tickets to attend the show, so she invited me because Julian is one of my favorite singers (he sings in a famous rock band, "The Strokes").
I remember that day was very hot and there were lots of people in the place, but miraculously we could see the band very close. All the people were jumping and sometimes I couldn't breath, but the experience was very funny. When the show ended, practically I had to cross all the city to arrive to my house and honestly I was kind of scare because the show ended very late.

Now, I'm very excited because it has been a long time since I haven't been to a concert, and Morrissey (another of my favorite singers ever) will come to Chile in December of this year, and fortunately I have my ticket :)

A country I would like to visit

Hi everyone,
Well, a country I would like to visit definitely is Iceland. The first time that I heard about Iceland was 5 years ago when I saw the movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty", and honestly it was love at first sight. The landscape of Iceland is very amazing and beautiful wherever you see, the weather is cold because Iceland is located in the North Pole, and this country has little population (so Iceland isn't contaminated respect another country with more population).

But it is not only a beautiful landscape, Iceland has a great quality of life in many aspects.
A lot of documentary put the country like a example of a very good quality of life, and Iceland even has been cataloged as "the most friendly country of the world". For example, about equal of gender, Iceland was the first country in force his companies to pay the same salary to men and women.
I really would like to visit Iceland, and who knows live there someday...

Hi everyone!

Welcome to my blog. I'm Magdalena Castillo, I'm 19 years old and I'm from Puente Alto, Santiago. Currently I study Public Administration in Universidad de Chile and I'm in the second year of this career.
Well, to be honest I like english, but I'm not very good with the language. My biggest difficult is use or find the right connectors when I want to write o talk something in english. However, when I have to read or listen something in english I don't have many difficulties.
This semester my expectations are learn much better english, and overcome my difficulties.  I think that english is very important in my career and in the life too, so I will give everything of myself to learn.
